3 days Tsavo East and Ngutuni

Safari summary

This safari is highly recommended for the first timers in Kenya and who are looking for a real value for their money. Ngutuni lodge offers a good accommodation with all the rooms overlooking the water hole, and each room has a balcony perfect for undisturbed game viewing and when lucky you might be able to see all sorts of animals at the water hole from the comfort of your balcony.

Day 1: Diani-Ngutuni Wild Life Sanctuary.

Depart from Mombasa at 06:00 and proceed to Ngutuni wildlife Sanctuary. Arrive at Ngutuni Sanctuary around 10:30 and proceed with a sanctuary safari before lunch. Ngutuni is a 10,000 acre private game sanctuary located between Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Parks. You will also have a chance to see the Ngutuni water hole, which attracts significant number of wild animals including Lions, Herds of Buffalos, elephants, zebras, buffalo’s ,and giraffes amongst others. After lunch you will continue with your afternoon sanctuary game drive where you will have a chance to see some amongst others the waterbuck’s and dik diks. Return to Ngutuni lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 2: Tsavo East National Park

Full breakfast at 07:30, and then together with your picnic lunch boxes, you will depart for a whole day game drive to Tsavo East. You will visit the vast savannah from one corner of Tsavo East National Park to the furthest end where you will visit the famous Laggard’s Falls along the Galana River to see the hippos, crocodiles and the remarkable water-worn rocks where You will have your picnic lunch boxes at the site with close proximity to Crocodiles and Hippos. The Voi circuit and the Kanderi Swamp area teems with lots of plains game.  You may be fortunate to see the ‘big cats’ hunting under the cover of the thick bushes.You will continue with your game drive with a chance of seeing  banded mongoose ,white tailed mongoose ,vervet monkeys ,yellow baboons ,side striped jackals, silver backed jackals ,grant gazelles ,hyenas ,warthogs ,dik diks ,impalas ,waterbucks ,Oryx’s  and elands .Return to Ngutuni  lodge at around 17:00 for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Ngutuni Wildlife Sanctuary -Diani

You will have an early morning game drive at 06:30-08:30 at the sanctuary, then return to the lodge for a full breakfast and check out. Depart to Mombasa with a game drive en route to the exit of the park. Arrive in Mombasa in the afternoon and be dropped to your booked hotel.
